Vine & Cork is an e-commerce company that wants to expand the wine culture in the United Kingdom, sharing its knowledge and offering wine lovers the opportunity to engage with it on a deeper level. For this reason all the companies have a description and all the wines have a specific technical data sheet with the history of the wine, all the technical details and the tasting notes. In addition, the site has a “Wine Lab”, an interactive blog, created to share and promote the passion for Italian wine, introducing and explaining Italian wines, regions and their history.

Another good news for our Raboso Piave which also conquers the Norwegian market!

At the beginning of April the State Monopoly Vinmonopolet, the only company allowed to sell beverages containing alcohol in the Scandinavian country, organized a tasting with the most important wine journalists of Norway, during which the Raboso del Piave DOC 2015 and the Gelsaia – Piave Malanotte DOCG 2013 were tasted.

The scores obtained and reported below, inaugurate at best the entry of the Raboso Piave in the market and underline, once again, the potential of this variety on the international scene.

During Vinitaly at the VINIBUONI D’ITALIA stand (PAD 12 / STAND C2) you can vote for your favorite sparkling wine. The most voted will be awarded at the Merano Wine Festival during the prestigious presentation of the guide Vinibuoni d’Italia 2019.

Also this year the Vinibuoni d’Italia Guide in collaboration with important partners such us Verallia, Repower and Amorim, awarded the Cecchetto’s Winery with the “ECOFRIENDLY 2018” Diploma of merit for the commitment shown in the realization of projects aimed at the protection of the territory and the vineyard, as well as in the implementation of plans aimed at energy saving and, last but not least, the production of wines that are respectful of the health and welfare of consumers.

“In addition to Prosecco, in Veneto there are other sparkling wines made from autochthonous vines. Lesser known products, perhaps, but no less interesting.

RABOSO

Thanks to its high acidity base, the raboso has a remarkable propensity to sparkling with Metodo Classico. A big producer of the Piave area as Cecchetto could not resist to the temptation. The Rosa Bruna Brut Millesimato comes from vines of over 50 years, in which the grapes are harvested at full maturity to express a high natural acidity. After 60 months on the yeast born a rosé with a great character and personality, with fresh aromas of black currant, pomegranate, raspberry and wild strawberries. The sip, characterized by an intact acid tension, is deep and persistent.”

This year were three the gold medals won by our wines worldwide: two medals awarded by the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, one at the Manzoni Bianco 2016 for the third consecutive year and one at the Sante Rosso 2015. The Merlot was also awarded with the Gold medal at the Mondial du Merlot & Assemblage in Zurich with only other four Italian merlot and defined by Decanter as “commended”.

Manzoni Bianco and Merlot are not the only winners, even the Gelsaia, made with the Raboso del Piave grapes, won the Bronze medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards in London. A recognition that once again places Raboso among the most appreciated wines at an international level.

A fundamental contribution to the achievement of these important awards received at international competitions, comes not only from the attention and commitment of those who work every day in our vineyards, but also from the particular care during the vinification and aging phases.

During the Milan Furniture Fair, at Fuori Salone in Milan we were guests with our wines in the Showroom of Republic of Fritz Hansen, a Danish design company with over 140 years of history and today recognized as a landmark on the international scene!
